So I'm reading my local paper online and see that a woman and two men in Lansing NY (hometown) have been displaced from their home due to a fire. Supposedly the woodstove ashes they threw out side were still smoldering and caught the deck, garage and remainder of the house on fire.As horrible as this news is, I'm happy to see that their Number 8 car survived the mishap and is able to drive the Lansing backroads another day.
Yes, my hometown is as redneck as yours...
